My artist name is SUNRAY. I am a 5th generation Sunshine Coast Native.
I am a painter, and my Art expresses the simple pioneering spirit of my ancestors. I have no formal art education, and am a passionate follower on no one. I am self-taught, and skilled at many many mediums, currently working with acrylic on canvas and hardboard. My observation and love of nature and all things around me drives me to create simple, powerful paintings of various subjects, such as Ravens, eagles, old trucks, seascapes, horses, and interesting landscapes.
For the Art Crawl, I will be offering my best examples of the various subjects I love to paint, such as Sunflowers, Ravens, Trucks in the woods, local landscapes, local marine subjects, boats, and a variety of non-subjective and abstracts.
As well as wood carvings for the garden!
