Roberta Mauel - Watercolours by Roberta
Watercolour artist Roberta Mauel draws inspiration from the beauty and geography of the British Columbia landscape as well as the cultural landscapes of her travels. Her work is impressionistic in style and infused with light and colour. Roberta often paints ‘en plein air’ and enjoys getting out into the backcountry to capture nature in it’s pristine state. Favourite motifs also include garden botanicals and still life images.
Roberta has painted in watercolours throughout her life, where possible, painting ‘en plein air’. Her work covers a wide range of subject matter and reflects a deep connection to the landscape of British Columbia.
