I am Lavena Galyide, originally from Ukraine, now residing in Canada. Having lived worldwide, I have always been passionate about Art. To me, art is everywhere. Since I was five, I’ve explored various art forms and learned from diverse teachers. Formerly an architect, I transitioned to a chef and ran a vegan restaurant in Downtown Vancouver for 10 years. Creating beautiful, balanced dishes was my artistic expression. I am passionate about food, vegetables, gardens, nature, and animals. My paintings often feature animals, flowers, and vibrant vegetables, reflecting my love for these subjects
I grew up in Ukraine, enjoying various art forms from age five. I became an architect and now am a plant-based chef and owner of Indigo Age. Art is the foundation of my life, influencing everything I do. I view the world through an artistic lens and now organize art retreats and voyages with various artists. I’m excited to showcase my latest work using palette knife techniques, reflecting my love for nature, animals, and gardens. Gardening and cooking fresh vegan food inspire me, capturing their vibrant colours and textures in my art, depicting the bond between humans, nature and animals
