I was born and raised on the west coast of BC and moved to the Sunshine Coast in 2016. I like to paint primarily in oils but still play with acrylics and use watercolours when I travel.
I am drawn to painting faces. I like the structure of a face. There are millions of variations from one face to another despite the apparent rules of facial structure. The face will tell you about the human soul behind the flesh and bones. From one moment to the next, experiences and emotion are revealed, or hidden.
I want to express the stories behind the faces in a way that makes you want to look and listen with your eyes. These faces may tell a different story to each person who views them.
