Art Crawl showing with

I was born and raised on the west coast of BC and moved to the Sunshine Coast in 2016. I like to paint primarily in oils but still play with acrylics and use watercolours when I travel.
I am drawn to painting faces. I like the structure of a face. There are millions of variations from one face to another despite the apparent rules of facial structure. The face will tell you about the human soul behind the flesh and bones. From one moment to the next, experiences and emotion are revealed, or hidden.
I want to express the stories behind the faces in a way that makes you want to look and listen with your eyes. These faces may tell a different story to each person who views them.

Art Crawl Details

2023 is my first year participating as an artist in the Sunshine Coast Art Crawl. In the past I’ve enjoyed going from studio to studio and meeting all the talented artists who exhibit every year. This year I’ll be showing my portrait paintings in my home together with my sister, Cindy Richard Mosaics. We hope you will all come by to say hello and take a look at what we have to offer.
