Jan draws on her Finnish cultural heritage and vibrant textured yarns to create functional and wearable pieces. She began weaving in 1990 using what she had on hand to make rag rugs and simple pieces. Now her original work include gorgeous shawls and other wearables and beautiful household textiles.
