I work with stone, wood, metal and found objects with the goal of producing something that is both familiar and alien at the same time. Objects you might find in a desert cave dwelling when exploring a long-dead alien planet, or something created by an ancient human who briefly saw in their mind’s eye an object from the future and attempted to recreate it. I also draw heavily on the feeling of nostalgia and a yearning for a bygone era.

My process is chaotic and consists mostly of gathering very specific material and meditating on composition before attacking the assembly process in one short messy burst.
