I have a great passion for capturing the land and seascapes, nature & wildlife of this spectacular area through the lens. My images have been used over 30 years by local publishers and stock agencies worldwide and exhibited in local galleries up and down the Coast.
Recently I’ve been experimenting with intentional controlled camera movement ( ICM Photography) resulting in a new body of work I call “Photo Impressions”. When the light and composition is right I capture and edit these moments in the field using both unconventional and traditional techniques. Limited editions produced using archival methods are available in acrylic and aluminum.
Being born and raised on the Sunshine Coast my passion for Photography started at a very early age. My goal is to transport the viewer of my images to the place they were captured and to feel the energy of the subject at the moment of exposure. Using long shutter speeds and intentional camera movement the still recognizable subjects become painterly Impressions. Printed mainly on aluminum and acrylic the images hang flat against the wall for a sleek, modern look without the need of a frame.
I also still do conventional nature and wildlife photography with an environmental focus.
