John Clinton is a multi-media sculptor doing both abstract and figurative work. While he works across a wide range of mediums, in recent years he has focused his practice in bronze and reclaimed wood. His work is heavily influenced by the West Coast environment where his studio is located. He has been a member of the Sculptors Society of Canada since 2009. Most recently he has participated in group exhibitions in Toronto at the Canadian Sculpture Centre and is exhibited at Whistler Contemporary Galleries at Whistler. His work can be found in private collections in Canada, US and Europe.
John Clinton Is a west coast sculptor who works in both figurative and abstract images and is showing for the first time in the art crawl. Focusing on found moments and found objects and brought to life in reclaimed wood and bronze his work reflects the textures, colours and moods of the living on the coast. Each piece tells a different story.
