I am a mixed media artist, currently working primarily on acrylic paintings on canvas and on wooden cradle panels. Since graduating from the fine arts program at Kwantlen Polytech University in Surrey, BC, I have been working for many years in series, enjoying using one work as the springboard to the next. I recently moved from North Delta to Secret Cove, Halfmoon Bay, and have been working out of a small studio in my home. My recent works are inspired by the forests, cottages, birds, boats and beautiful waterfront and ocean views in the area. Using bold colours and simplified shapes, my works are intended to evoke a sense of joy and nostalgia. My studio is open by appointment and is considered accessible by boat only.
