SUMMARY:Hand Reef and Sew Basic Leather and Stitching Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Basic Level Workshop 01 takes place at Hand Reef and Sew’s studio shop in beautiful lower Gibsons. In this workshop\, Participant’s will learn a basic understanding of the hide\, common types of leather and their applications\, characteristics and general tanning practices. We will look at the basic tools\, their uses\, hand stitching in order to create your own card wallet. Included in the basic level kit are two harness needles\, waxed linen thread\, leather card wallet cut and pricked. Foundational seminar and step by step instructions for the saddle stitch with images in a handy booklet.
