SUMMARY:SC Arts Centre: Life Drawing
DESCRIPTION:Tuesdays Sept – to end of May with a break mid Dec to mid Jan. We draw under the natural light in the gallery. Our models reflect a range of age and gender. We welcome budding artists and experts alike\, no experience necessary. There’s no competition\, no pressure\, just concentration and direct observation of the undraped human body. Every three years we have a drawing exhibition. Easels\, drawing boards and chairs are provided. Artists draw with pencils\, charcoals\, watercolours\, pastels\, digital drawing – anything goes that can be managed in your small space. \nPlease arrive before 10 so you will be settled before we start at 10 am sharp. We start with 15 1-minute gestures\, then a 5\, 10\, 15\, 20 and 20 minute poses. We have a half hour break 11:30-noon then we have 2 final 30 minute poses. \nFee is $20 cash paid at each session. \n\n\n\nMore info here.
