DESCRIPTION:Last Thursday of the month. \nMake the cards at home\, or make them when you are here- have a pint of Persephone beer or cider and revel in the colours and designs of a rad community of artists. Snap a pic of your collection and tag us in it-we love staring at all the colours!\n\nArtist Trading Cards are self-made unique works or small series\, signed and dated on the reverse by the artist/producer\, exchanged and collected by the people who participate in this collaborative event. There are only 2 “rules”: the cards must be 2.5″x3.5″ (the same as modern hockey cards or baseball cards)\, and they are only to be traded\, not sold.

SUMMARY:Sechelt Life Drawing
DESCRIPTION:Tuesdays from 10-1 from Sept to May with late Dec break. We draw under natural light in the gallery. Our models reflect a range of age and gender. We welcome budding artists and experts alike\, no experience necessary\, no competition\, no pressure\, just concentration and direct observation of the undraped human body. Easels\, drawing boards and chairs are provided. Artists draw with pencils\, charcoals\, watercolours\, pastels\, inks\, watercolours\, digital drawing… \nFee $20 cash paid at each session. \nWe start at 10 am sharp. Please arrive at 15-30 minutes early to set up. We start with quick 1-minute gestures\, then a 5\, 10\, 15\, 20 and 20 minute poses. Bring lunch or snack as we have a half hour break 11:30-noon then we have 2 final 30 minute poses. Many hands help put equipment away.
