Trail Bay Mall: Lights of Life 2024 – Sunshine Coast Hospice

Hospice volunteers host booths in public locations at Sunnycrest Mall in Gibsons, Trail Bay Mall in Sechelt, and the Craft Fair in Pender Harbour.

At the tables, we provide ornaments to write a loving tribute, or simply the names of their loved one(s) who have died, and hang it on the tree. On New Years’ Day, the hundreds of ornaments are gathered and then brought to a ceremonial public beach bonfire event called Lighting of the Memories.
