Sunshine Coast Writers and Editors Society September Meeting

Join us for our first AGM followed by a reading by Marion McKinnon Crook, who will read from “Always Pack a Candle: A Nurse in the Cariboo-Chilcotin”, that won the Lieutenant-Governor’s Community History Award, about her experiences as a nurse on wheels. She is a nurse and an educator. She holds a nursing degree, a master’s in liberal studies, and a PhD in education. She is the author of seventeen books, including nonfiction and mystery books for adults and books for youth and juveniles, and Emma Dakin, under which she writes cozy mysteries.
