2nd Friday of the month – presenting information about what to expect in the skies in the near future and also arranges for a public presentation by an expert in some aspect of Astronomy.
The first club meeting of the new year will be at the Sechelt Library. Our guest speaker will be Christa Van Laerhoven and she will be giving us a presentation about the icy worlds beyond Neptune in the Kuiper Belt.
Christa is a planetary scientist currently living in the Yukon and currently the president of the Yukon Centre of the RASC.
