Spirits of Our Grandmothers Canoe Awakening Fundraiser Installation

shíshálh elder xwup’a’lich and her daughter kwa’tle’maht (Barbara Higgins and Holly-Ann Higgins) are fundraising to purchase a truck, paddles and a cover to launch the Spirits of our Grandmothers Canoe once again in the shíshálh inlet.

The Spirits of Our Grandmothers Canoe Project aims to be a springboard for sharing shíshálh culture, stories, and history with the people of the Sunshine Coast.
