PH Wildlife Society presents Dr. Sue Grayston

describing the often unseen forest biodiversity that exists below ground. In the last two decades, new techniques have provided unprecedented insights into the incredible diversity, organization and functioning of the below-ground ecosystem. Grayston will also describe research that has demonstrated the importance of living roots in sustaining this below-ground ecosystem. Grayston is a resident of Earls Cove and professor of soil microbial ecology in the department of forest and conservation sciences at UBC.
