One Tiny Farm: Earth Day: Pickling without Canning

June 15 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm

$17.31

Our season of fermentation workshops continues! This time it’s Fermented Pickles! In this fun and hands-on class, we’re making a batch of pickles, using produce inspired by the garden harvest.

Participants get tasters, a detailed recipe, and lots of ideas for how to incorporate these probiotic-rich, tangy pickled veggies into your meals and snacks, and you’ll take home a jar of garden pickles to finish fermenting at home!

Instructor: Andrea Potter is a Chef, Registered Holistic Nutritionist and Mom of 2 young kids. After over a decade of teaching healthy cooking classes in and around Vancouver through her business Rooted Nutrition , she has transplanted to the Sunshine Coast and is loving it.
