Reconciliation through Education and Understanding

In recognition of the National Day for Truth & Reconciliation, we are honoured to have Syiyaya facilitators and Indigenous witnesses offer this unique educational event. This participatory workshop will help you understand how colonization of the land we now know as BC and Canada impacted the Indigenous people who lived here long before settlers arrived. Explore nation-to-nation relationship between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in Canada, how this relationship has been damaged over the years, and how we all can work toward reconciliation.
