Jazz Fest: Swing Dance with Deanna Knight & the Hot Club of Mars

$20 – $40Swing Dance Lessons by Alex Hart at 6:30-7:15. Band starts at 7:30 with live Gypsy Jazz from traditional to the unusual. Travel back in time to the early acoustic-swing era of the 1920’s & 30’s and experience one of Vancouver’s most eclectic gypsy jazz ensembles.
Local chanteuse, Deanna Knight reunites with the driving rhythms and hot solos of Michael Dunn and his Hot Club joined by Tom Neville on violin. Be inspired to dance or sit back and relax to an eclectic repertoire including original compositions, tango, bossa, boogie, Hawaiian and more.
