Janet Panic | The Van Aldens
July 9 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Free
This is a Sechelt Summer Music Series concert.
JANET PANIC: Award-wining, Juno nominated Janet Panic presents new folk roots songs that feel raw as road rash, bare as your birthday suit, and melancholy as first love. They are songs about relationships, and reflect a simpler time when friends were made and maintained face-to-face and online life was the stuff of science fiction.
THE VAN ALDENS are a rocking, blues-based band formed out of the legendary Tuesday jams at the Roberts Creek Legion. Featuring Paul Dwyer of Playback on drums, Bud Kurz from Double Treble on guitar, Steve Schwabl on vocals and harmonica, and special guest on bass, direct from downtown Vancouver, Steve’s cousin Albert Klassen.
