Gibsons Public Market: Deanna Knight & the Hot Club of Mars

Vancouver’s Hot Club of Mars has been swinging for quite a few spins around the sun (a few dozen Earth years or so), though things really started heating up when chanteuse Deanna Knight landed on Martian soil in 2002. Deanna is reuniting with her beloved Hotties in her hometown of Gibsons after stepping back for several years to focus on her solo release Every Little Spark.

This night kicks off with Rhythm City Swing’s Lucky Falkner for a fun dance lesson followed by 2 sets of toe-tapping vintage swing, bossa, tango and more. Enjoy songs from the 20’s, 30’s and 40’s, plus off-beat new music and unforgettable songs with uniquely infectious rhythms. Adding a magic sparkle to the sound, “D” also writes tunes with as much pizzazz as when she delivers them!
