February 8 @ 6:30 pm - 8:15 pm

Many families wish to strike a balance between eating out, eating healthy, buying local, and our budgets. Come explore practical tips for recreating our dinner options (including ethnic cuisines) while supporting our local farmers and ranchers, diverting food from landfills, saving money – and feeling good about it all.
Nazmi Kamal, PIDP Educ., MSc, MBA, BBA, is an educator at Capilano University’s School of Tourism Management. He is an advocate of food and travel, with academic interests in food sustainability, immigrant cuisine and food as a cultural identity. He will present this talk in person at the Gibsons Library.
Free but in-person space is limited; contact the Library to register. Also accessible live on Zoom.
