Join us and experience the powerful voice and heartfelt storytelling of Kym Gouchie — JUNO Award–nominated and 2025 Western Canadian Music Award winner for Children’s Artist of the Year. A proud member of the Lheidli T’enneh Nation with Cree and Secwépemc ancestry, Kym is a multidisciplinary Indigenous artist whose music, visual art, and stories uplift, educate, and inspire audiences of all ages.
Rooted in community and culture, Kym’s songs weave together Indigenous language, teachings, and contemporary folk sounds, creating performances that are both deeply moving and joyfully interactive. Her award-winning album Shun Beh Nats’ujeh has become a favourite in classrooms across the province, and her live shows radiate that same energy—inviting everyone to sing, dance, and connect.
