Funky Swing Social Dance

Do you want to join us for one of our social dance parties in Sechelt but feeling a little shy? Here’s what we’ve found: Dancers who show up for a quick warm-up lesson before the party feel more confident and enjoy the party that much more!

With our social dance parties, the studio will provide you with the opportunity to practice as regularly scheduled practice sessions are an important part of your learning. Social dances give you the chance to dance in a supervised “nightclub” atmosphere. This supervised environment will help you recognize the beat, dance with multiple partners, and learn to manoeuvre on a crowded dance floor. You needn’t wait until you think you are good enough to attend a practice session. Going to these sessions right away will help you build your confidence.
