“Flee” Film Screening

This mostly-animated documentary tells the true story of Amin, who arrived in Denmark as an unaccompanied minor, having fled the Taliban’s Afghanistan with his mother, brother, and two sisters; they braved unscrupulous traffickers and corrupt police for months to arrive in freedom physically and psychologically damaged. Today, at 36, a secret he has been hiding for over twenty years threatens to ruin the life he has built for himself.
