Elinor Frey, baroque cello

The CRS is delighted to present internationally renowned cellist, gambist and scholar Elinor Frey in concert on Sunday, November 6 at 2:30 pm at the Raven’s Cry Theatre in Sechelt. CRS President, Carolyn Mitchell, will host a pre-concert chat at 1:30 pm.

For her CRS performance, Elinor Frey will perform La Voce del Violoncello, a program featuring works for early cello by Italian composers from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries: Dall’Abaco, Supriani, Vitali, Gabrielli, Galli, Colombi. The programme will also include Bach’s unaccompanied cello Suite no. 4 in E-flat Major, BWV 1010.
