Davis Bay Hall: English Country and Contra Community Dances

Sat May 31 & June 14. Contra Dance Sat June 14. English Country (17th-18th C) and Contra (19th C) are social dances – the stately roots of square dance. Dances are taught by callers, and accompanied by live folk music. Everyone dances together. No partner or experience required. Ages 8 – 108 are welcome! Admission: $15 suggested donation, or pay what you can. All donations go to the hall, callers, and musicians. Cash, cheque or e-transfer at the door.
