Author Event: Monica Meneghetti

Queer foodie BC author Meneghetti reads from her memoir, What The Mouth Wants, & translation of novel The Fifth.
What the Mouth Wants is an intimate and sensual memoir, tracing the Italian-Canadian, queer author’s life journey through her relationships with food, family and love. As she grows into her identity she understands that, like herbs infusing a sauce with flavour, her differences add a delicious complexity to her life.
Meneghetti also translated from the French The Fifth, a novel about a polyamorous relationship, by Quebec author MP Boisvert, who will join us via Zoom.
