BC author and SFU emeritus archaeologist Brian Hayden reads from his new novel, “Eyes of the Leopard,” set in Stone Age France amongst giant mammoths, cave lions, and painted caves. Thirteen-year-old Sev and his family are grudgingly accepted into the Bear Clan. When his father gets deeper into the mysterious group of shamans who commune with spirits, Sev accepts a dare to enter their forbidden cavern and unravel their secrets—risking exile from the Clan.
