to April 24. How might sound nurture a visceral understanding of our changing planet, stimulate receptiveness and an ability to respond to climate change in our day-to-day lives?

For this exhibition, three architectural instruments, or “listening devices,” are designed to enable musical interactions between humans and water in three of its forms: glacial ice, sea water and rain. These devices are the Glacier Accordion at the Athabasca Glacier in Alberta, the Sea Carillon at the Roberts Creek Pier, and the Rain Pendant in the Sprockids Park forest along the Sunshine Coast.

Josh Wallace is an artist and architect who lives and works in Gibsons, BC.
