Art Exhibition: Gibsons Public Market – Roberta Mauel

to April 25. Roberta is a watercolour artist living in Gibsons on the Sunshine Coast. She draws much of her inspiration from the beauty of the natural world and Roberta’s paintings are an ode to nature’s bounty. The vivid colours and the sheer explosion of the forces of nature that surround us during the spring and summer months are the inspiration for this collection of works. Working with the magical qualities of watercolour paints as they blend and fuse with one another, Roberta seeks to capture the delicate and translucent beauty of the flora of our west coast gardens and nature’s wildflowers.
