27th Sleepy Hollow Rod Run

This family event starts on Friday with cars registering at Hackett Park from 1:00 PM until 5:30 PM for the Rod Run from Hackett Park to Halfmoon Bay. At the park, there will be a concession stand selling food and beverages.

The 30 km Rod Run cruise starts at 6:15 PM and is lead by our local RCMP with 450+ classic cars winding their way through 3-4000 spectators that line the highway from Sechelt to the Halfmoon Bay Fire Hall. Participants are always amazed at the warm welcome and enthusiasm by the cheering crowds that gather alongside the roadway. The spectators make signs, dress in costumes and place couches/ lawn chairs in their driveways. You also see a number of barbecues and house parties in full swing.
